Yes the common saying for most girls my age is... " i must i must improve my bust.." well for me that is not the case! i MUST i must improve my blogging skills! So im thinking that i need time every day (as often as possible) to write a little bit about me to fill you in on whats going on in the life of me....or life in general!
So... where to start!?
Originally i started this blog to help me blog at work, i work for a small charity based in the small town in which i have grown up check us out... www.hopefamilycentre.org
Management decided that we needed our website updating along with our online social profile, i started in May and have been trying to get us into the 21st century ever since! i have now opened a Facebook, Twitter and now a BLOGGER! i havent set up HOPEs blog yet, i need to work on my own first!
practice makes perfect! (or so i hope)
So i suppose i should fill you in a little bit about me....
Im 21 years old, living in Bromyard, a small town smack bang in the middle of hereford and worcester, its not too shabby, but could be better. im looking forward to the christmas lights being turned on this weekend, i live in the high street so im going to have twinkly lights outside now til new year! i have to say you cant fault our lights! they're traditional and i LOVE them! once i work out how to post a picture i will put one up of my fabulous view! they certainly make me christmassy! (just like the coca cola advert - although i think im the ONLY one who hasn't seen it yet! to be fair it is quite early!) Im blogging not only to learn but for inspiration, i REALLY want to become abit more self reliant, i am working for a charity so money is far from great and i know that i have the arty blood running through my veins but im eager to know what people think of my ideas.
First idea of the Christmas season came to me through a friend on Facebook, her daughter is lactose intolerant BUT is desperate for an advent calendar this christmas, the lactose free chocolate calendars are so expensive so i suggested that she buy one of the ones you fill yourself, this got me thinking... how hard would it be to make an advent calendar??? iv had an idea to make a washing line-esque advent calendar with various coloured (and textured) christmas stockings, with the 25 days of christmas sewn on each one? im thinking some nice cord or rope and some nice ribbons and designs on the 25 different little pockets? soooo what do you think???? all feedback will be appreciated i promise! (even negative)! i think i might mock a few up and see what the girls in the HOPE Emporium think! might make a few pennies for christmas as well as helping out the charity!
i think its fair to say i have rambled enough for today - i know ive probably bored half of you to sleep! but please check in for regular updates on what im doing!
thanks for reading! :)
